Hi everyone! It's Monday & time to for another "Focus On" feature.
Today Patricia & I are here to share some creative journaling with you.
how to "tell the story" in a unique, different, fun (& sometimes out of the box) way!
Up first is Patricia with her beautiful creation:
supplies: Sweet Shoppe (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Chit Chat Stickers, Embellishment Bundle, Circle & Tag Stickers), Pinwheel (6x6 Tiny Tablet, Letter Stickers, Chit Chat Stickers), Destination (Postcard Paper, 6x6 Tiny Tablet, Letter Stickers, Label Stickers, Chit Chat Stickers, Embellishment Bundle)
Just look how creative her journaling is! I LOVE how she told her story in so many differentways, using so many different means to journal!
The stamps, the stickers, the handwritten journaling...wow!
Not to mention that CUTE photo!
Here's what Patricia says about her project:
I love this photo, but I love the story behind it even more. We were not sure if
our daughter would do her first performance or not. As I wrote this, I realized
again just how proud I am of her and what a big deal this was for her. I
combined my handwriting, stamping, the chit chat stickers, letter stickers, and
circle and tag stickers for my journaling. Then after I added the stitching, I
went in and filled in any other empty spots with a button, dots, and more chit
I decided to use my Silhouette Cameo to cut my journaling. I replaced some of the words
that were cut with the Lily Bee letter stickers, to give it a tiny bit different touch.
This quote from Winnie The Pooh is perfect journaling/titling for our sweet puppy,
Lilly Pulitzer. She's sweet, so tiny & she stole all our hearts!
Lily Bee Design supplies: Pinwheel (Circle & Tag Stickers, Letter Stickers, Embellishment Bundle,
6x6 Paper Pad, Jumprope Paper Lemonade Stand Paper, Ice Cream Truck Paper)
Sweet Shoppe (Letter Stickers, Chit Chat Stickers, Embellishment Bundle), Destination (Chipboard Stickers)
Because I decided to use such bold letters/words as my journaling, I kept my
papers and embellishments to a small minimum for a maximum overall outcome.
I love how it turned out!
We can't WAIT to see what YOU have up your sleeve to use journaling
in a creative way. Have fun with it, let loose & step out of that box.
