Hey everyone! Melissa and I (Cindy) here today with some handmade pretties for our Lily Bee fans. This week is all about giving thanks to those we love and adore in our lives and a fun way to show how much we are grateful for them is the gift of a handmade card.
Melissa has created two awesome three-dimensional cards, read how they both came together.
To create both of these cards, I cut a block of card stock down to 4 1/2 x 12. Folded that in half and then layered more cardstock and pattern paper on top.

For the "Thanks" card, I cut strips of paper at 1/2 inch and folded them in half and glued them on a circle of card stock using a hot glue gun. I then layered a second set of folded pattern paper on top of the card stock.
To finish it off, I glued a sticker in the middle and adhered the flower to the middle of my card.

On the second card, I layered various sized circles in three different spots and my title was placed at the bottom using the ABC stickers.
The next set of cards were created by me using my Cameo Silhouette die-cut machine.
For my "Grateful" card, I added a mix of paper strips to cover the base of the acorn for pops of color and die-cut the word on the acorn top and backed it with a solid color for contrast.

I then added a tag to continue the title and tied it around the acorn top with thick twine.
On my "Thank You" card, I used a word motif that is repeated throughout the background of my card, using negative space.

I layered cardstock, pattern paper and vellum banner strips together to slightly stand out from the background and embellished with a few punched leaves and pearls.
Thanks for hanging out with Melissa and I. Hope your day is creative and fun!
