Guest Designer | September | Wendy Sue Anderson

Happy Thursday, everyone! Each month, here at Lily Bee Design we feature a new Guest Designer to share their inspiring work using our products. Today we welcome our Guest Designer for September, the super talented, Wendy Sue Anderson! Let's get to know Wendy a bit more!

Hello!  My name is Wendy Sue Anderson and I am so excited to be joining the folks here at Lilybee Design this month!  I’m just a regular mom who lives in a little mountain valley in Utah – and I love scrapbooking and paper crafting. J  I have been married to my sweet husband, Brad, for almost 19 years and we have four amazing kiddos – one daughter, Meagan, and four sons, Josh, Seth, and Zach.  They keep me on my toes, but also provide me with plenty of opportunities to take photos and tell stories!

I have been very fortunate to be involved in the scrapbook industry for about 12 years and I have loved every minute of it.  I spend lots of late nights working at my craft table – and even though I lose oodles of sleep, it’s totally worth it and I wouldn’t want to give it up!  Right now I’m lucky to be working as a contributing editor for Scrapbook Trends magazine and the Create: Idea book series in addition to contributing to several fun manufacturer design teams.   Thanks so much to the folks here at Lilybee for asking me to create some projects with their gorgeous products.  I have to tell you, over the last year or so, I have found myself turning to Lilybee products again and again - especially the awesome little letter stickers!  One of my favorite things about all lilybee papers are the beautiful patterns. I love that the patterns are usually on a smaller scale - perfect for backgrounds that don't overwhelm the photos, and perfect for card-making too!  I have really enjoyed creating some fun projects to share with you and I hope I was able to do justice to the gorgeous products!  I'm looking forward to sharing more throughout the month!

Here's what Wendy had to say about her project:

I knew, as soon as I saw this line (Autumn Spice), that it was going to be a favorite!  The colors are so rich and beautiful and just make me want to wrap up in a soft blanket and drink hot apple cider - I love autumn!  This is a photo I snapped as the sun was setting on a crisp, cool day.  We were sitting on a cold bench eating hot soup at California Adventures, trying to warm up from the inside out.  There wasn't really a story behind the photo, except that it was a last-minute snap of the camera at the end of a perfectly lovely family day and so I knew I wanted to add it to our album - using the fun stamps along with the letter stickers provided the simple journaling that I wanted to add. :)

I just love how Wendy used our Autumn Spice stamps as a major design element on her page! I also love her title on our Index Cards, so clever! What a wonderful layout, Wendy! We're so excited you are joining us this month!
