Good morning crafters it's Summer with the Lily Bee Design Team and this week I thought it would be fun to challenge everyone to incorporate a quote on to their next layout. I really like the idea of using quotes on layouts. They have so many uses from subtitles to journaling the possibilities are endless. Today I used a quote to incorporate my title onto my layout. The great thing about quotes is they can stand alone on a layout or be used along with personal journaling, this is the approach to took.

This is just one way to incorporate a quote onto a layout. Other ideas include using song lyrics, quoting your friends and family, or even using your favorite line from a movie. I found my quote at one of favorite quote sites www.quotegarden.com. Now that I have given you some ideas we can't wait to see what you come up with!

How do you get journaling on a 12x12 page like that? Sticker paper? Magic? I have always had to print on a a smaller, separate piece of paper. This has always eluded me and finally thought I'd ask! Thanks.

Hi Katherine. Thanks for stopping by the Lily Bee blog today. I am lucky enough to have a 12x12 printer that is how I printed my journaling. That being said this could easily have been done with a standard printer. Because of the design of my layout a seam could be hidden behind the title/photo block. I would cut down 12x12 paper to 12x8.5, print my journaling then re-piece the 12x12 paper back together. Another option would be printing on a scrap piece of cardstock and adding another banner strip at the bottom. I hope this helps :)
